Here is just a friendly reminder to always get a Weather and NOTAM briefing before every flight. I just read that there will be a TFR in the Chicago area this coming weekend because the new President is planning to burn thousands of gallons of greenhouse gas emitting jet fuel in his taxpayer funded "private jet" so he can go home for the weekend. Political satire aside, it would not be that far of a trip for some of our members to go to or near Chicago and these TFRs will likely be somewhat common during the next four years. The last thing you want to see is an F-16 forcing you to land because you got a little too close to POTUS.
